Session Review
Following from last Monday, Tom and I had to present the final concept to
the class and our lecturer. Furthermore, by stroke of luck or design my
academic English lesson earlier that day held a focus on presentation skills.
This had helped me further refine the groups existing presentation. Simply by
making sure all text was at least a font size of twenty-four, visible text and
paraphrasing our big biographies for our characters.
Returning back to the classroom, once the ritual of the daily session introductions were completed, Tom and I were expected to see Mathew attend, but for unknown reasons, he was not there to present with us. After I informed the substitute tutor Andy of what the class and I were supposed to be doing naturally, my group were the first ones up.
Despite presenting concepts for four years and three times to my crafting the digital image class, I still a felt a slight chill of anxiety. Though once the ball got rolling and the slides flowed well my confidence of presenting our idea rose. Overall Tom and I were pleased and from the response and feedback from the tutor and class they also enjoyed the concept and animatic.
However, Matthew was later found in the canteen for those of you who were wondering as Tom and I questioned his whereabouts earlier. I won’t forgive his actions on Monday for falling to apologize or notify someone to let the tutor know he is unable to make it, since despite Tom and me delivering a good presentation it would have been satisfying having all of the team members presenting the concept.
